ABSTRACT painting was part of Jan's early art schooling.  She still has an original painting from Junior High School that won her 1st prize at the Calgary Stampede.  She is now back doing Abstract after a recent instructional course by Jean Pederson on Layering in Color with Mixed Media.  It is very satisfying to express ones feelings into an Abstract Painting.
